Getting to know new people and understanding their technology needs.

What has had the biggest impact on your career?

My journalism advisor in college, in 1993, telling me the internet wouldn't be ready for consumers for 20 years. I immediately quit the journalism school and went into computer science school.

Where has Touchstone taken you?

Booking my Vegas trip now.

What was your first job?

Grilling chicken at Kings Island.

Underworld's Moaner at unpleasantly high volume.

What was the last book you've read?

I had to check my Kindle account: I was reading the Tanach this fall, but most recently read A Book of Nonsense by Edward Lear. It wasn't very good. This assumes that unix man pages don't count.

Where would you teleport to right now, if you could?

They can just barely do this at the quantum level up to a distance of 16km, so I'm going to hold off and just walk, thanks.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Listening to the static between radio stations and watching paint dry.

A computer, business cards, notepad and pen.
